I'll try the driver first, but I've tried three different sites and they all have my cam broadcoasting the same black screen plus noise. To get around this I had to shut down the third party antivirus; turn Windows Defender on; turn Defender off. If you do not opt for an add-in, then the USB ports on the Asus will work.
Right-click Internet Explorer(No Add-ons), run as Administrator. Tried it again and badabing both connected. Re-installing IE9 did not solve the problem either. If it does not, then right click and try the pair controller command.
As far as I know there is no way in Windows itself to disable it, so you need the software that came with your webcam do disable it (of possible). I did check with Task Manager and Defender is not running.
